This Training Day is open to everyone. It is great for a new stylist starting out or someone who is new to the industry. It is also open to anyone who struggles at home with styling their own hair and wants to be able to style their hair with a blow wave that will last.
The topics we will cover and discuss are:
- Hair types
- Importance of washing and maintaining hair
- The best products to use for different hair types
- Different types of blow waves that we can achieve
- Finishing products
- Tools and brushes
Includes:

- A Hair Bible, produced by Sarah

Mi Amour ‘STYLE IT!’ Training Course
2 day Training Course
2 day Training Course
This course is aimed at college students or newly qualified stylists who are looking for more experience in the hairdressing industry, this will work alongside your education and help you develop your skills and knowledge taking them to the next level.
The Training is a held over two consecutive days.
Using the Mi Amour Hair Bible, we will cover the following topics:
- Different desired looks/cuts from clients
- Achieve the Magazine and Pinterest look
- Hair types and defining hair types
- Hair tools from scissors and dryers to wands and irons
- Cutting / styling
- Re-styling
- Live Demos
- Practical work using doll's head
Includes:

This is a 3-hour course, held in the evening. Suitable for parents, stylists, but also open to anyone
We will cover the following topics:

- Best products and tips
- Live demos
- Practice on a doll’s head

Mi Amour ‘GET TO KNOW YOUR OWN HAIR’ Training Course
A course for the general public to learn and understand how to maintain their own hair.
A full day session, delivered on a 1 to 1 basis 10am – 4pm.
We will cover the following topics:
- What colours suit your skin tone
- What styles suit your face shape
- What products are best for your hair
- How to blow wave your own hair
- How to create waves or curls in your hair
Includes:
- Mi Amour brushes (full set of 4)
- Mi Amour Hair Manual (Hair Bible) – we will be using this throughout the day

Mi Amour ‘BECOME A STYLIST’ Training Course
Available to NVQ level 2 and over.
Available to NVQ level 2 and over.
This course is aimed at qualified stylists who are in need of more enhanced training, or would like to move out of their comfort zone and cover areas of cutting and styling, they are not too confident with.
This is a full day of intense training, for cutting and styling.
The Training is a held over a full day from 10am - 4pm.
We will cover the following topics:
- Long hair, both cutting and styling
- Sectioning hair when cutting and styling – and the importance of this
- Long hair re-style to short hair
- Shorter hair styling and products
- Taking weight out and texturising hair
- Fringes, Gringes and Bangs
- Live Demos
- Practical work
